Wizkid and Linda Ikeji ‘kiss and make up’ Lagos- The war between between pop star, Wizkid and blogger, Linda Ikeji has come to an end. The end came after  Linda  Ikeji  took a case of ‘threat to her life’ to the office of Lagos State commissioner for Police, Fatai Owoseni stemming from the Wizkid rant. Wizkid and Linda showed up at the office of the Lagos Police chief at Area F, Ikeja where they both resolved to settle the case without pressing charges. According to Linda Ikeji on her blog, ‘I spoke with Wizkid through his lawyer on Friday April 15, 2016 where he tendered an apology to me and said he wasn’t a violent person, that he didn’t mean what he said, that it was just an emotional outburst. And then he asked for forgiveness’. The case against Wizkid is now closed but he was warned it will be re-opened if he threatens anyone else. Ycee has signed to Wizkid’s Starboy imprint Lagos - Wizkid has signed a new artist to his Starboy entertainment imprint. The pop star revealed this in a tweet when asked by a fan on Twitter on whether he was going to sign up another artist soon. The singer has not revealed the identity of the artist but speculations have it that the newly signed act is Tinny entertainment's rapper Ycee. Wizkid gets first Zimbabwe concert The 'Jagaban' rap act recently collaborated with a Wizkid artist who goes by the name L.A.X in a song titled 'Ole'. The new artist would be joining producer cum singer  Maleek Berry, singer L.A,X and his recently signed official DJ DJ Tunez.

7 dead, 121 rescued after a residential building collapsed in Nairobi due to heavy rain (photos) At least seven people have been confirmed dead and 121 rescued so far after a residential building collapsed in Haruma, Kenyan capital Nairobi, late Friday night following a heavy downpour. Rescuers including Kenyan Red Cross search and rescue team is leading efforts to find people feared trapped and possibly killed. The Red Cross said they managed to pull three children and an adult from the remains of the six-story building, adding that 150 building units and adjacent homes were affected. Actress Mercy Aigbe arrested by police in Osogbo (photo) Popular Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe Gentry, had a brush with men of the Osun State police command around 4.30pm today. She & her driver were arrested at Olaiya junction in Osogbo, the Osun State capital for allegedly displaying a police cap on her car’s dash board, attracting the police attention.
