Scrabble World Champion Wellington Jighere denied travel visa by French Embassy to World Championship in Lille Wellington Jighere, the reigning world champion of Scrabble has been denied travel visa to represent Nigeria at World Championships in Lille, France.  He shared this photo on social media today wishing his teammates luck. This is to wish everyone participating in this year's MSI World Scrabble Championships the best of luck since I and my Nigerian compatriots were refused visas. Yes, you heard me right! The number one Scrabble playing nation on earth was refused visas to enable her contingent participate at a Scrabble event.   I guess some folk somewhere need to be better at their job next time. May the best player win! Photo: Four teenagers arrested in Akwa Ibom for alleged trading in human parts 4 teenagers were recently nabbed in Mbo State Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State when they went looking for a buyer of a human skull in their possession. The Akwa Ibom State Police Public Relations Officer, Delia Nwawe, said the suspects were arrested by officers of the Criminal Investigation Department(CID) on receiving an alert from vigilant youths in the area.   The alleged leader of the group, Emmanuel Edet Ikot denied the accusation, claiming that he only stumbled on a human skull while working at an uncompleted building for a man who had paid him to cut grasses. 3-year-old girl hit & killed by a car as she ran onto the street to greet her granddad A little girl named Jayda Handy died after she was hit by a car when she ran onto the road during her own birthday party. Jayda ran onto the road near North 84th and West Marion streets in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to greet her grandfather as he arrived for her party but was struck and killed by a car. Speaking about what happened, Jayda's heartbroken father, Jaylen Handy said, 'It's just still unreal to me that this happened. She was just here preparing for her party all morning.. She saw her granddad, she ran over there. She was just a happy baby. Always happy. Always happy. Everybody loved her... everybody is going to miss her.
